Recently I received a polish I had long been doubting about. The thing is, one day you'll just have to buy it, or the thought will keep haunting you.
I'm talking about Russian Navy Matte. I know that every polish can easily be mattified with a matte topcoat, and therefore there is no real sense in buying a matte polish. They apply like wallpaint after all. But somehow the Russian Nave matte always looked so posh to me. I really love the look of this almost-black velvety textured beauty!

And then I did some cooking, and it started chipping right away. That's another frustrating thing about mattes, they just won't last! So I decided to camouflage it up with a bit of stamping. I picked a Bundle Monster plate and my beloved China Glaze Millenium, and this is how it turned out:
This is taken under artificial light, which makes it look blacker. I absolutely love this! Too bad I'll probably have to take it all off tomorrow!
